Custom Services is
an expression of Tamarack’s desire to work with organizations
that share our interest in community engagement processes.
Our goal is to provide a flexible and responsive service that
enables our partners to be successful.
Community engagement processes are the means
for a community to realize its goals.
At Tamarack, we believe that when communities are actively
engaged in strategic and innovative planning, positive community
change will occur. We also believe that the process of working
together will result in increased knowledge and skills as
well as the attainment of desired goals.
Tamarack works alongside voluntary sector,
municipalities and government organizations to develop the
knowledge and skills necessary to build healthy, equitable
and self-sustaining communities.
Tamarack is working with colleagues from
across Canada, and internationally, to develop a range of
services and tools that enable members of the Tamarack team
to effectively respond to the goals of our partners and clients.

Coaching:
Tamarack uses a collaborative, results oriented approach to
finding solutions to challenges and opportunities.
Research and Resource
Development: Tamarack examines issues, identifies
opportunities and develops resources that enable our partners
to be successful.
Learning Events:
Tamarack prepares custom presentations on topics related to
community engagement. Conferences and workshop focus on building
knowledge and skill development.
Building Communities
of Learning: Communities of Learning effectively
adopt community development processes that foster collaboration
and comprehensive strategies which cultivate knowledge and
asset creation. Tamarack assists both geographic communities
and communities of intention to become self-sustaining Communities
of Learning.
