Tamarack has extensive experience in community engagement. We have also amassed considerable research on the topic.

Through the Learning Centre’s Open Services, the knowledge that Tamarack and others involved in community engagement have generated over the years is shared freely with those who wish to access it.

The customized knowledge and tools produced when organizations contract with us through our Custom Services is also shared where possible, distilled into tools, lessons learned, best practices, etc, and incorporated into the Open Services. Thus, all of Tamarack's work learns from and impacts itself, creating an organic reservoir of knowledge that enriches the understanding and practice of community engagement.

Tele-learning Seminar Series - Tamarack’s Tele-learning Seminar Series runs once every month at 12:00 p.m. EDT so that people can participate from coast-to-coast. Tele-learning events are designed to highlight either an area of work in which Tamarack is currently involved (through its various projects) or to highlight the work of people and organizations we admire.

Workshops - Tamarack recognizes the need for providing easily accessible ideas, research and resources that help individuals and groups to engage and build their communities. We offer workshops on community engagement and related topics, in both online and face-to-face formats.

Custom Services - Tamarack assists organizations with their specific community engagement efforts. These contracted services are tailored to the particular needs of the requesting groups, and are available on a fee for service basis.
